Some areas of the brain are difficult to disconnect. This session will focus on which brain conditions make it difficult to secure complete disconnection, how to determine if there are missed connections if seizures return after initial disconnective/resective surgery, and the use of diffusion tensor imaging to map missed connections and its reliability.
